Before establishing himself as a composer of music for film and television, Peter was, and still is, an active member of the Canadian League of Composers and the Canadian Music Centre, and has been commissioned to write numerous pieces which were often recorded and broadcast by the CBC. He has also been active in the jazz and rock community as a player and a writer, and also as a church musician and composer of sacred music. Because of his extensive experience in such a wide variety of musical styles and settings, Peter has the ability and knowledge to create any kind of music or to combine styles together in new and interesting ways.
